Unboxing the Canon MAXIFY MB2720 Printer:

Open the box and take the ink tank cardboard box and other documents out of the printer.
Grab the package and take the Canon printer out of the box.
Remove all protective tapes around the printer.
Now, open the front cover and remove the orange package materials from inside the printer.
Pull the cassette and then remove the orange protective tape from the cassette.
Insert the cassette into the printer.
Plug one end of the given power cord to the printer and the other end to the electrical outlet.
Press the ON button to turn ON the printer.

Canon MAXIFY MB2720 Cartridge Install:

Make sure the Canon MAXIFY MB2720 printer is turned ON and follow the on-screen instructions.
Next, open the front cover of the printer and wait until the print head stops.
Remove the Black ink tank from the package.
Now, insert the ink tank into the print head holder and press until it snaps.
Repeat the same process to install other ink tanks into the print head holder.

You can send the scanned document to email with the help of following instructions.
Make sure the printer is connected to the LAN network.
Check the Mail Server Setting is done.
Turn ON the printer, go to the Home screen and then tap the Scan icon.
Under the Select Save location screen, tap Attach to E-mail.
On the next screen, tap Email directly from the device.
Next, tap Select recipients.
Under Select recipients, tap Select from e-mail address book.
Select the e-mail recipient or tap Add recipient and add new recipient, then select OK.

On the printer's control panel, press the Home button.
Next, slide the screen left or right and tap LAN settings.

Go to your computer and download the drivers from the official Canon websites.
Once the download is complete, run the setup file.
If you have the setup CD-ROM, insert it into the CD drive and run the setup file.

Printer Offline:

On the Windows computer, click the Start button.
Next, click the Settings icon on the left side of the Windows option.
On the left side of the Settings screen, locate and then click Devices.
Now, click Printers and Scanners.

Now click Open queue; a new dialog box will appear and you have to click Printer.
Under the Printer option, uncheck both Pause Printing and Use Printer Offline.

Paper Jam:

Now, insert the cassette into the printer until it stops.

Open the front cover and slide the print head holder to the end of the printer.
Grab and pull the jammed paper gently out of the printer.
Once the paper is removed, check if there are any excess paper pieces inside the printer.
Now, close the front cover and press the power button to turn ON the printer.

Change damaged ink tank:

If the ink tank is damaged, try to change the damaged ink tanks.
Make sure the printer is turned ON.
Open the front cover and locate the damaged ink tank.
Push the ink tank lever and take the damaged tank out of the printer.
Unpack a new ink tank.
Next, insert the new ink tank into the print head holder. Press until it snaps.
Finally, close the front cover and enjoy printing.

Printer network problem:

Make sure the printer is turned ON.
Try to print using the network; if the computer can’t find your printer, perform the basic check-up given here.
Place the printer near the router.
Make sure the router is configured and connected to an active network.
Check the Ethernet cable connection between the router to the modem.

If the cable is damaged, remove the old cable and connect the devices using a new cable.
