Check printer power connection and reset the printer:

  • Take out the printer from the box.
  • Remove the packing material from outside of the printer.
  • Remove the orange tapes and protective packaging materials inside the printer.
  • Tilt the printer and remove the orange tapes from the backside of the printer.
  • Now, connect one end of the power cord to the printer and the other to an electrical wall outlet.
  • Turn on your Canon PIXMA MG3020 printer by pressing the Power button.

Paper loading steps:

  • Extend the paper support and its extension.
  • Slide the paper width guides to the outer side.
  • Load the plain paper into the paper tray with the print side facing up.

  • Press and hold your printer’s Wireless button until the Wireless lamp flashes.
  • Press the Color button.
  • Press the Wireless button again until the Network lamp lights up.
  • Again, press the Color button.
  • Download the setup software on your computer.
  • Double-click on the downloaded file and select Start Setup.
  • Choose Region and select Next.
  • Read the End User Licence Agreement and select Yes.
  • Click Next on the Firewall Settings screen.
  • On the Connection Method screen, click Next.
  • On the Check the connection method screen, click yes.
  • Setup continues, the Select wireless router screen will appear.
  • Now select MY ROUTER and click Next.

  • When the registration completion message appears, select OK.
  • Go back to the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app's main screen and tap More→ Cloud –>Start.
