• Open your default web browser.
• Visit the official printer driver download page.
• Enter the printer's model number (Epson LQ-5900II) and hit Search.

• In the Print Quality field, choose the Advanced option.

• Select the most appropriate setting from the list according to your choice.

• Firmly press the Power button to turn off the printer.
• Use any pointed object or a pin to press and hold the reset button at the back of the printer.
• Turn on the printer but make sure that the reset button is pressed (5 seconds).

• Release the Reset button after a warning page is printed.
• After some time, another page with the default IP Address will be printed.
• Use this IP address to reconfigure the printer to the computer.

• Turn on your Epson printer and make sure that the ink out light is off.
• Access the printer software.
• Click the Utility tab and click on the Head Cleaning button.
• Follow the on-screen instructions.
• Caution: Never try to power off the printer while the Power light is flashing. Doing so might damage the printer.

• When the Power light stops blinking or flashing, click the Print Nozzle Check Pattern in the Head Cleaning dialog box.
• Note: If you feel that the nozzle check page is not satisfactory, then repeat the head cleaning one more time and print the nozzle check pattern again.

• If the printhead is under warranty, you can get a new printhead assembly kit for free.

Uncheck the Use Printer Offline option

• Turn on your PC and log in to the Admin account.

• Click on the Devices and Printers to view the list of printers on your network.

• Click on the printer.

• Go to the Windows Start menu.

• First, turn off the printer.
• Gently remove the paper that has been stuck on the paper guide.
• Open the printer cover.
• If you are loading continuous paper, remove the paper guide.
• If you witness that the continuous paper is jammed, then tear off the fresh supply at the perforation. Rotate the knob on the right side of the machine to eject the jammed paper.

• Cross-check whether the printer is not in sleep mode.

Remove and re-add the printer:

• Wait for a few minutes and re-add the printer to your computer via a USB cable.
