To install your Arlo security camera, follow the steps given below
- Unpack the Arlo security camera box.
- It consists of the Arlo camera and the Arlo base station.
- Connect the base station to your wireless network.
- Connect the AC adapter to a power source.
- Connect the base station to your router using an Ethernet cable.
- Please turn on the power switch in the base station to turn it on.
- The Arlo base station comes with power and an internet LED.
- It will turn green once the pairing is complete to your wireless network.
- Now, the initial installation is done.
- Next is to download the Arlo Security app on your Android or iOS device.
(Enter arlo.netgear.com in the address bar of the browser if you are using your computer).
- Tap or click New to Arlo in the app.
- Select Arlo wire-free. (the app will detect your device).
- Check to see if your base station’s serial number matches the one mentioned in the app.
- To complete the installation, you must now sync your Arlo camera with the base station.
- Bring the Arlo camera within 1 to 3 feet of the base station.
- Press the sync button in the base station for a few seconds and release the button.
- Wait until the sync status LED is lit green.
- Press the sync button on the Arlo security camera for 2 seconds and release it.
- The blue LED on the camera will start blinking rapidly to confirm the sync.
- The installation is now complete for your Arlo Security camera.
