Canon SELPHY CP1300 is a wireless compact photo printer that offers multiple ways to connect, print, and share your documents. You can use the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app to print from your mobile device directly. This printer can combine images to form a unique collage on a single photo, and the wireless printing feature supports AirPrint and Mopria Print Service. UNBOXING AND SETUP:

Contents inside the box:

  • Canon SELPHY CP1300 Compact Photo Printer
  • Compact Power Adapter
  • Power Cord
  • Paper Cassette
  • User Manual Kit

Check whether all the contents are inside the box.

Hardware Setup:

  • Open the box and remove the power cord, paper cassette, and user manual kit from the package.
  • Now, take out the compact power adapter and gently remove the printer from the box.
  • Discard the packing materials and protective tapes around the printer.
  • Open the paper cassette cover of your printer and discard the plastic tape from it.
  • Now, remove the power adapter from the package and connect the power cord to it.
  • Plug the power cord to the back of the Canon SELPHY CP1300 printer and an electrical outlet.

CANON SELPHY CP1300 PAPER AND INK SETUP:

Follow the below instructions to load paper and ink into the printer.

Loading the paper cassette:

  • Unpack the paper cassette from the package and remove the protective covers.
  • Open the outer cover and the inner cover of the cassette.
  • Now, insert the sheets into the paper cassette.
  • Do not insert more than 18 sheets in the paper cassette.
  • Slowly close the inner cover.
  • Do not close the paper cassette’s outer cover while printing.
  • Now, open the printer’s paper cassette cover and insert the paper cassette into the Canon SELPHY CP1300 printer.
  • Make sure to open the outer cover.

Loading the ink cassette:

  • Unpack the ink cassette from the package and discard the protective tapes.
  • Now, open the ink cassette cover of the printer.
  • Insert the ink cassette into the printer.
  • Make sure that the ink cassette is installed correctly into the printer.
  • Now, close the ink cassette cover of the printer.

CANON SELPHY CP1300 DRIVER:

Follow the below instructions to download the driver of your printer.

  • Visit the official support page of your printer to download your Canon SELPHY CP1300 printer’s driver on your computer.
  • Type your printer model name in the search bar at the top of the page, or you can browse the printer model name by selecting the Printers category from the Product Type on the support page.
  • Select your device name from the menu list in the next window.
  • Now, choose your printer’s model number from the list.
  • Click on the Drivers & Downloads top menu from the list.

SCAN CANON SELPHY CP1300 :

This printer does not support the scanning feature.

CANON SELPHY CP1300 WIFI SETUP:

Follow the below instructions to complete the Wi-Fi setup of your printer.

  • Check whether the router/access point is on and is ready for connection.
  • Select the Wi-Fi settings on the printer’s control panel and press the OK button.
  • On the next screen, select the Connection Method option and press OK.
  • Now, choose the Via Wi-Fi Network option from the menu and press the OK button.
  • Select the WPS Connection menu and hit the OK button.
  • Now, select PBC Method and press OK.
