Troubleshoot Canon Printer Problems

Replace The Empty/low Ink Cartridges

  • From your Canon printer, open the ink cartridge door.
  • Remove the empty/low ink cartridge from the respective slot.
  • Unpack the new ink cartridge.
  • Discard the protective tapes from this cartridge.
  • Now, install the new ink cartridge into the printer.
  • Close the ink cartridge door.
  • Check whether the issue is solved. By now, the problem should be fixed.

Fix Paper Jam Issue Inside The Printer

NOTE: Here, we have taken the CANON PIXMA TS3320 printer as an example.

  • First, you need to switch off your printer and unplug its power cord.
  • Next, open the front cover of the printer.
  • Check if any paper is jammed below the FINE cartridge holder.
  • In case the paper is jammed below the cartridge holder, move the cartridge to the right or left, making it easier to remove the jammed paper.
  • Now, slowly pull out the jammed paper inside the printer.
  • Make sure to remove all the jammed paper from the printer.
  • Close the front cover.
  • Now, connect the power cord to the rear of your printer and the other end to an electrical outlet.
  • Turn on your printer.
  • Check if the issue is fixed on your Canon printer.

Fix Paper Jam Issue At The Transport Unit

  • Make sure to turn off your Canon printer and disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Insert the paper tray into your printer and close the front cover.
  • Open the transport unit at the back of your printer by pressing down the lever.
  • Slowly remove the jammed paper from the transport unit.
  • Ensure to remove all the jammed paper from the transport unit.
  • Once you clear the paper jam, close the transport unit.
  • Plug the power cord into the back of your printer and the other end into an electrical outlet.
  • Turn on your printer.
  • Check whether the issue is solved.
